If you are a T-Mobile FlexPay customer or a PostPaid customer, It is said that from 21th Jan you can obtain the SIM unlock code after 40 days you got the cellphone, it is 50 days less than before (need 90 days). and if you are a prepaid customer, the time you can asked for a SIM unlock code is also reduce by 30 days than before, now after 60 days of service. Even if you are a former T-Mobile customer, you can ask for the former SIM unlock code if you want to back to T-Mobile, but there are some additional requirements as your account is in good standing with no past due payments and work on T-Mobile for at least 40 days.
