How to install apps on T-Mobile HTC HD2?
If you have any problems when you want to install apps on your T-Mobile HTC HD2, don’t worry, here I give you two methods, both these two methods should work, if one of them doesn’t then try the other one. remember! I havn’t tested them, because I don’t have the T-Mobile HTC HD2, if you want to try it, please on your own risk. The two methods of installing apps are listed below.-T-Mobile HTC HD2 info
T-Mobile Phones Question-how to install apps on T-Mobile HTC HD2:
Method 1 – This is the “old” method where your app comes in the form of a Windows executable. You may need to use this method if you purchased your app at a retail store have it on CD.
Step 1 – Connect your device to your computer via USB and connect to ActiveSync.
Step 2 – On your Windows PC, locate the app you with to install and run the Executable.
Step 3 – Follow the install instructions on your Windows PC. Once the setup completes you will see a progress window pop-up as the app is copied to your device.
Step 4 – Follow the install instructions on your Device.
Step 5 – You’re done! Locate your app icon in the start menu and enjoy!
Method 2 – This is the “new” method where you download your app directly to your device. The filename will end in .cab which indicates to you that it is a Windows Mobile setup file.
Step 1 – Find the app you want on the internet and select download
Step 2 – A pop-up will appear on your device asking you where to save it. The default is the root folder of your Main Memory. (Advanced/organized users will want to redirect the download to a specific folder, typically somewhere on the SD card)
Step 3 – Navigate to your Start Menu and select File Explorer.
Step 4 – On the top left corner of File Explorer, Select and change the active folder to “My Device” (or wherever you saved your .cab file)
Step 5 – Scroll down the list of files and folders in the main screen and locate the .cab file you just downloaded.
Step 6 – Double tap the .cab file to begin the installation.
Step 7 – You will be prompted to install to your Main Memory or the Storage Card. (If you are new and using this guide, then I would recommend you select Main Memory).
Step 8 – Wait for the files to install and press the “ok” button once the installation has completed.
Now you have successfully installed apps on your T-Mobile HTC HD2! Enjoy it!
